Spring is a period where many cultural events are held by Croatian Cultural Society of Minenesota. Check out some of the events that are to be held in the end of April and month of May.

Message from the hosts: "May Croatian Americans continue some cultural practices after having big become US citizens".

Sarma Dinner at the Croatian Hall - April 18th

The Spring Sarma Dinner will be held at the Croatian Hall on Saturday April 18th starting at noon until all the Sarma's are gone!  The address for the Croatian Hall is 225 2nd Ave, South St. Paul.

Adults are $10.00, Children 10 and under are $5.00 and Hot Dogs and Chips are $3.00.

Festival of Nations Apr 30th thru May 3rd, 2015

Festival of Nations, the largest multi-cultural event in Minnesota, brings together people from a vast array of backgrounds to celebrate their ethnic heritage. Through world-class entertainment with daily performances, exhibits, food, music, dance, and personal connections, this family-friendly festival provides a look into the traditions, history and journey of over 90 ethnic groups, and sheds light on how each one contributes to the American cultural landscape. This year’s theme, International Arte, will be seen throughout the Festival.

Friday: 4:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am – 10:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 6:00 pm
 
Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival
 
There are three Croatian movies and two Serbian movies showing this year.  Below you will find the dates and times for each of the showings.

2.) The Reaper/Kosac  (Croatian)
Showings:Tue, Apr 14 9:45 PM and Sat, Apr 25 3:00 PM
 
3.) These Are The Rules/Takva su pravila Takva su pravila (Croatian)
Showings: Sun, Apr 12 8:00 PM and Thu, Apr 16 2:45 PM
 
4.)  Monument to Michael Jackson/Spomenik Majklu Dzeksonu (Serbian)
Showings:  Fri, Apr 10 3:00 PM and Sat, Apr 18 10:00 PM
 
5.)  No One's Child/Nicije dete (Serbian)
Showings: Sun, Apr 12 11:00 AM and Fri, Apr 17 5:10 PM

This International Film Festival is the largest film event in the Upper Midwest, as well as one of the largest and longest running film festivals in the country. It's held from April 9th throug April 25th.
