H1 records 7% more tourists and 4.7% more bed nights

Around 4.18 million tourists visited Croatia in the first six months of this year and generated 16.86 million overnight stays, which is 7% more tourists and 4.76% more bed nights on the year, Tourism Minister Darko Lorencin and Croatian National Tourist Board Director Ratomir Ivicic reported on Tuesday.

The greatest tourist traffic in H1 was reported in Istria County with 5.4 million overnight stays, which is 32.6% of all bed nights recorded or an increase of 4.2% y-on-y.
